I often talk to my clients and students about “finding uncomfort”

Getting uncomfortable.

Have the tough conversation, hold the pose, do the awkward thing that may not feel great in the moment.

Then I found myself in a Guatemalan forest presented with an opportunity to practice what I preach. About to enter a temezcal, which I’m very used to, and we had the option to be naked. This is Day 1 with mostly strangers.

So I got uncomfortable. And continued to do so.

One outer (physical) layer that needed to be shed which continued to open up so many deeper (emotional) ones as the retreat unfolded.

2 days later I’m still feeling the deep lessons and fully integrating.
